Frequently asked questions about exhibition stands
Cost, lead times, BeMatrix modular stands, rental, storage… Here are the answers to the questions our clients ask most often. Another question? Contact us, we will get back to you quickly.
How much does an exhibition stand cost?
The price of a stand mainly depends on its size and complexity: the larger the stand, the more rented BeMatrix structure and labour it requires. The m² of printing, the number of TV screens or m² of LED wall, and transport also affect the quote. Every project receives a free, detailed quote.
How does a quote request work?
It all starts with a briefing: you tell us about your trade show, your goals and your budget. We then draw a first layout of the stand. Once you have approved this layout, we prepare a precise, free and no-obligation quote.
How far ahead of the trade show should you contact a stand builder?
Ideally 3 to 6 months before the show, depending on the complexity of the project. This leaves time to approve the layout, graphics and printing without stress. MGS Stand remains very flexible, though: contact us even if your show is close, we will always look at what is feasible.
How long does it take to build a stand?
A 20 m² stand can usually be built in one day, depending on its complexity. Large, complex stands take three days at most. We size our teams to the number of build-up days set by the show organiser, and we also take care of dismantling.
What is a BeMatrix modular stand?
A BeMatrix modular stand is built from aluminium frames that fit together like a construction kit and are covered with printed panels. MGS Stand builds all its stands with this system: the structure can be reused from one show to the next, adapts to any size and greatly reduces waste.
Should you buy or rent an exhibition stand?
At MGS Stand, the structure of your stand is rented. It is more flexible and less expensive: if you attend several shows with different stands, you do not have to buy extra structure to adapt them. Each time, we supply exactly what you need.
What happens to the stand after the trade show?
The BeMatrix structure returns to our 2,000 m² warehouse in Sprimont and is used for other stands: 90% of the structure is reused. Your printed panels are stored free of charge for one year, and longer if they are reused for your next shows.
What does a turnkey stand include?
MGS Stand handles everything: layout design, graphic design, printing, video content for LED screens, transport, build-up and dismantling. If you work with your own graphic designer, we provide them with the print templates to follow.
Where does MGS Stand build stands?
Based in Sprimont, near Liège, MGS Stand mainly works in Belgium and Luxembourg: Brussels Expo, WEX, Flanders Expo, Luxexpo… We also regularly build stands abroad, including in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.
What stand sizes can you build?
From 9 m² to over 200 m² per stand, and we have even fitted out an entire 2,000 m² trade show for Induscabel. With the BeMatrix modular system, we build small stands as well as large custom stands with storage rooms, bars and LED screens. We have been building around thirty stands a year for more than ten years.
Is MGS Stand an eco-friendly stand builder?
Yes. 90% of our structures are reused and prints can be used several times. For every event, we take action for the climate and biodiversity in Belgium with PlantC. Our company is also committed to the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Certification of the CCI Liège-Verviers-Namur.
